Authentic Marseille Soap, 100% Plant Based

I used this cube soap in the shower. I lathered it up 3 different ways; once with a washcloth, another time with exfoliating gloves and the last just my hands. Things that I liked are how it lathered up so easily; being able wash my entire body without grabbing it again, I also like that skin felt so clean and not dry out by the product. I did not like the size of the cube soap. I was not a fan of the smell. And it also left filmy residue after each shower. But overall, I would still purchase the soap because it made me feel extra clean without drying out my skin like some antibacterial soaps do.

The scent is fresh, elegant, and clean — it gives that "just stepped out of a spa" feeling without being overpowering. The texture feels creamy and luxurious, and it lathers beautifully, leaving my skin soft and refreshed instead of dry or tight. I absolutely love this soap. It's one of the best I've ever tried. The cube itself is huge and I must say you definitely get a lot of soap in one cube. The design of the cube allows you to flip sides to let it dry out making it last longer. It holds its shape well and doesn't get mushy. The soap lathers up quickly into a nice soft foam and is great at cleaning off dirt and sweat. It's quite easy on my sensitive skin and also provides gentle exfoliation. This is one of very few soaps that hasn't dried out my sensitive skin or caused any irritation. I love that it's unscented and safe to use on your entire body in the shower. It leaves my skin feeling and looking clean, silky smooth and soft. When this cube runs out I will be purchasing another one. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

The presentation!! Wow. It hurt to remove it from its container. I have sensitive skin so I'm careful with the products I choose. The cube foamed up really well and it left my hands feeling so soft! It's gentle enough to use on undergarments as well, just shave off a few pieces and add it to water!

I received this product for free so that I could review it. I have been using this as my hand soap for the last few weeks. I am the type that washes my hands with soap many times while cooking or cleaning so I prefer a moisturizing hand soap. This soap has no scent and does have a squeaky feeling while rinsing the suds off, but does not leave my hands dry which is appreciated. The amount of product you get is humongous as well. I can see this block of soap easily lasting at least 3-6 months as it lathers very quickly with one swipe! The shape is also very classy that I wouldn't mind displaying it in our guest bathrooms. I have not yet used this as a cleaning / laundry product but will do so the next time I have a stain.

I tried this soap, and I honestly can say that it's amazing, simply excellent. What I love about it is that it has no strong fragrance, no artificial dyes and it's vegan. The soap cube itself is large and solid, so it should last for a quite long time. I also really love how it works: it lathers beautifully without any effort, and after shower there's no feeling of tightness or dryness at all. It cleanses perfectly but remains gentle - which is just wonderful. As someone with sensitive skin, I can say that this soap works beautifully and doesn't cause any irritation whatsoever. Overall I liked it very very much, and I'm sure I'll be buying it again in the future.

I have incredibly sensitive soap and this savon blanc soap has been a godsend. It doesn't dry my hands out and it feels so gentle yet very luxurious. You can tell that they soap makers took their time to make this as it really shows in the lather and finish.

I have never heard of this product before. As shown in the photos this soap is large. It encapsulates luxury and it delivers! The soap (which sounds so simple but this product is much more than that) when used with water is extremely creamy. You feel the glide and softness that simple soap doesn't have. What I appreciated was that there wasn't any fragrance smell! If you are sensitive to fragrance scent or any of the ingredients in fragrance you should not have a reaction. It will not compete with your own personal perfume choice. That's important to me. Perfume is so expensive. Who wants competing smells???!! Later in the day you can feel softness not dryness. Again without excessive additives. This is such a simply beautiful quality product to enjoy as selfcare or share as a gift. I would personally love to receive this soap as a gift. Yas a gift giver or receiver there is not worry about a funky over floral scent. Enjoy luxurious showers or baths at your leisure with the epitome of French quality! Savon Blanc Authentic Marseille Soap is a high-quality, traditional French soap made with natural ingredients. It lathers richly, cleans gently, and leaves skin soft without residue. My only negative is the shape--I wish it was flatter.

My new go to soap. This product has such a pleasant smell and a great smooth texture. I appreciate the clean ingredients and how it great it is for my sensitive skin. I love how versatile it is. I have used it not only on my hands but to get spots out of my clothes as well.

This soap cube is a pretty unique idea. In practice, it works well as you can easily lather it using your hands or bathing apparatus (luffa, bathing towel, etc). However, I didn't love the fact that it's pretty odorless — which, I realize is the appeal of the product, especially given the intention is for it to be a pure product that has little to no added materials. The soap does do a great job of cleaning and getting rid of body odor, but it is just not my preference. Otherwise, it works great and I do enjoy using it from time-to-time. It's just not my go-to, per se.

I was really excited to try this soap but the cube shape is difficult to use. Other than that I really liked how it lathers and the smell!

I was eager to try this soap because I prefer bar soap over shower gel. I liked that it was plant based, so fairly natural, although we have to remember that many chemicals in products are ""natural"". I liked the fell of this soap, it seems to later well and leaves the skin feeling clean and smooth. It is completely unscented, not a scent at all. I almost wish it had a slight scent, but no scent is better than strongly scented products. One comment I have is that it comes in a fairly large cube shape. It was a little too big to use, but was easy enough to cut in half and that made it much more manageable. I tried it on my laundry, by following the directions and rubbing it on a stain, but it really didn't seem to work very well. I would stick to using it in the shower. Overall, I would recommend this is you want a good, neutral bar soap for the shower. I received this product for free in return for my honest review.

Leaves your skin feeling clean without residue traditional soaps leave. It's unscented, but I'd prefer a little scent as this one smells a little stale. I do feel the luxuriousness of the pure ingredients though, and have never experienced any soap with such high quality.

I really like this soap, not only does it look great on the bathroom vanity which elevates the elegance, it is fragrance free soap which is not stripping to the skin. Left with clean hands which feel soft.

I had been looking for a natural daily soap alternative and was glad to have the opportunity to try Savon Blanc vegetable based Marseille unscented soap. Having used traditional savon de Marseille in the past I was interested in seeing how this differs. At first it comes across as a standard squeaky clean, tactile feel but the surprise is the addition of glycerin which also brings in a more slick feel to it. I very much like that it's unscented which doesn't interfere with any fragrance I wear and I feel great knowing it doesn't have any toxic additives. The one downside for me is the traditional cube shape which I find awkward to hold and use as a bar or bath soap but this is remedied when lathered onto a body scrub puff instead. Otherwise I would say this is a solid daily soap product I would recommend to friends and use again without hesitation.
